Electromagnetic Frequency, The Human Body, and Essential Oils

Sometimes when we mention "body frequencies," we may encounter skeptics. This is simply because some people are not familiar with the term or what it means. Electrical activity in the body is measured regularly as EEG (electroencephalogram) and EKG (electrocardiogram) waves in the brain and heart, respectively. The body is indeed electric. But, it goes even deeper than that. Electrical frequencies in the body can be raised or lowered, affecting a person's state of health. This is something mainstream medicine has not explored, but holistic medicine recognizes all too well.

WHAT IS FREQUENCY?

Frequency is defined as a measurable rate of electrical energy that is constant between two points. With frequency comes electromagnetic potential. We are constantly influenced by the magnetic action of the frequencies that surround us each day, and these frequencies affect our health and well-being. Every living thing has an electrical frequency measured in megahertz - humans, animals, plants (fresh foods, herbs, and essential oils) and even planets.

One of the most intriguing books I have ever read is The Body Electric written by Robert O. Becker, M.D., who documented the electrical frequency of the human body. Dr. Becker was a pioneer in the field of bioelectric science and presents a fascinating look at how electricity plays a role in healing the body.

In the early 1920s, Royal Raymond Rife, MD, developed a "frequency generator." He found that by using certain frequencies he could destroy a cancer cell or virus. He discovered that these frequencies could prevent the development of disease while others would destroy disease.

Nikola Tesla said that if we could eliminate certain outside frequencies that interfered with our own electrical frequencies, we would have greater resistance to disease.

Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology in Cheney, Washington, developed new equipment to measure the biofrequency of humans and foods. He used this biofrequency monitor to determine the relationship between frequency and disease. Measuring in megahertz, it was found that processed/canned food has a zero MHz frequency, fresh produce had up to 27 MHz, dry herbs from 15-22 MHz, and fresh herbs from 20-27 MHz. Essential oils started at 52 MHz and went as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency of rose oil. A healthy human body typically has a frequency ranging between 62 to 78 MHz, while disease may begin at 58 MHz.

THE FREQUENCY OF ESSENTIAL OILS

Clinical research shows that genuine essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man and create an unfavorable environment for microbes. Essential oils have the ability to lift our bodily frequencies to an optimum level for health and wellness.

One fascinating experiment was the measurement of the frequency of a young man, age 26. While holding a cup of coffee, his frequency dropped in three seconds to 58 MHz. Without the use of essential oils, it took his body three days to go back up to normal. Another young man, age 24, drank the coffee, and in three seconds, his frequency dropped to 52 MHz. After inhaling an essential oil blend, his frequency returned to normal in 21 seconds. Both young men's normal frequency prior to the test was measured at 66 MHz each.

It is important to note that essential oils may not always prevent our frequencies from dropping, but they definitely assist the body in quickly reestablishing an optimal frequency. It has been said that people using essential oils have a 60 percent greater resistance to illness and may recover 70 percent faster from any given illness.

One interesting aspect of this study was the measurement of the influence that thoughts have on the body's electrical frequency. Negative thoughts lowered the frequency by 12 MHz while positive thoughts raised the frequency by 10 MHz. It was also discovered that prayer and meditation increased the measured frequency levels by 15 MHz.

Essential oils and oil blends with higher frequency ranges work in the emotional and spiritual regions while oils with a lower frequency have a more profound effect on making structural/physical changes in the body. Oils with a frequency of 78 and below are thought to work specifically for harmonizing and balancing the physical body. Single oils can be added for increased effect.

It has been demonstrated that the application and/or inhalation of essential oils that carry higher frequencies result in a positive change of mood and spirit. Inhaling essential oils can have immediate and profound physiological and psychological effects, because the sense of smell is the only one of our senses that directly affects the amygdala, part of the limbic system of the brain where emotions and memory are stored and released.

Research of electrical frequencies in essential oils led to the discovery that people feel better emotionally when oils are diffused in their homes. It appeared that certain oils acted within 1-3 minutes while others acted within seconds. It is amazing to consider that an oil applied to the bottom of the feet can travel to the brain and take effect within 1 minute. In fact, some have noted the taste of the oil on their tongue within minutes of applying it to their feet. This is because essential oils are made up of very tiny molecules that can pass through tissues and membranes, even crossing the blood-brain barrier.

The following chart shows the measured frequencies of single essential oils and blends from Young Living. This is a partial list as Young Living carries 200+ essential oils and blends.

WHAT ELSE CAN AFFECT OUR NORMAL BODY FREQUENCY?

The normal body frequency ranges between 62 and 78 MHz and appears to drop during sleep, while still maintaining the normal range. Daily activity and emotions will cause frequency to fluctuate. However, with proper physical and emotional care (clean diet, exercise, using non-toxic products, prayer/meditation, etc.), the body should be able to stay consistently within the proper and balanced range of frequency.

Loud, chaotic situations can alter our body frequency. This is called "alternating static and incoherent frequencies." A noisy room creating tension and agitation, being caught in traffic with angry drivers, and other stressful situations cause people to want to flee to a quiet, peaceful place where there are healthy, balanced frequencies. For some, this may be a trip to the solitude of the mountains or the fun and relaxation of the beach. Because we live in an environment of incoherent frequencies, it is not surprising that we see more disease, depression, and frustration than there was even 50 years ago.

Daily radiation from cell phones, computers, smart meters, electrical appliances, cars, x-ray equipment, etc all contribute to toxic build up of negatively charged magnetic particles in the body. This magnetic accumulation in the body causes cellular damage that can lead to deterioration and disease if you are not daily protecting yourself and cleansing your body systems.

HOW CAN YOU MEASURE BODY FREQUENCIES?

The technology of bioimpedance makes it possible to measure body frequencies. Bioimpedance is a measure of how well the body impedes electric current flow. It is commonly used in fitness trackers and BMI devices. If you are using a bioimpedance device that gives you biofeedback on your frequency levels, the device will send a small electrical current into the body to identify issues with frequency flow. It will then identify certain essential oils and supplements that resonate at that frequency to help your body reestablish or maintain a healthy body frequency. For example, you may be developing a cold. The biofeedback device will often pick up on this when measuring your frequencies and suggest immune-supporting oils and supplements, sometimes before you are even aware that you are getting sick.

But, biofeedback can measure more than physical frequencies. It can measure emotional frequencies which many people tend to ignore as having a major impact on physical health. I have scanned people that showed results for essential oil blends created specifically for emotional support. And, many times, the person knew exactly why that oil blend turned up on their scan, even provoking an emotional response from them. One woman I scanned decided to start using the two oil blends that were recommended for emotional health. At her next doctor's appointment, her therapist asked her what she was doing differently as she had noticed a substantial and positive change in her patient's demeanor and mood. The woman told her about the essential oil blends she was using which piqued the curiosity of her therapist.

Frequency is a fascinating subject. I hope you will continue to explore how frequency affects your health and how you can include genuine essential oils to help maintain health and wellness.
